Bookmakers for Arbitrage
To place arbitrage bets you need accounts at several bookmakers. An arb almost always pairs a sharp book (sets accurate prices) with a soft book (where the high odds come from). The more accounts you have, the more opportunities you can act on.
🎯 Sharp books & exchanges — open these first
Low margins, high limits, rarely restrict arbers. These form the backbone of most arbs.
Pinnacle
The benchmark sharp book — lowest margins, very high limits, almost never limits arbers. The single most important account to have.
Betfair Exchange
A betting exchange, not a bookmaker. You bet against other people, so it never limits you. Great for one side of an arb.
Smarkets
Low-commission exchange, similar to Betfair. Useful alternative liquidity.
Matchbook
Exchange with competitive commission, often appears on the sharp side of arbs.
💰 Soft books — the value side
These often post the highest odds on one outcome. They also limit arbers faster, so keep stakes natural and spread your action.
1xBet
Frequently offers the highest odds on one outcome — a very common source of the "value" leg. Aggressive at limiting, so spread your action.
Unibet
Wide market coverage across many countries (FR/SE/UK/NL versions). Regularly shows up in arbs.
Coolbet
Scandinavian-focused, generous odds on smaller leagues — strong for the value side.
Nordic Bet
Good coverage of Scandinavian football and tennis, often the high-odds leg.
Betway
Large soft book with broad coverage; decent odds before they limit.
22Bet / Melbet / Mostbet
High odds on niche markets. Be careful — these limit and void aggressively. Use for smaller stakes.
Bet365
Huge market depth; competitive on many events but limits arbers quickly. Keep bets natural.
William Hill
Established UK book, occasionally the high side, especially on tennis and baseball.
